CES news: ASUS announced 7″ tablet for $250

Tomorrow is the first day of CES. ASUS has already brought us an exciting good news. ASUS is going to release a 7″ tablet with ICS and a Tegra3 processor for only$250.
Sprint is going to carry Galaxy Nexus as their first LTE phone
There is a leak yesterday on the CNet website that Sprint put up an ad about their first LTE device. Surprisingly, it is the Galaxy Nexus. There are hardly too many details that released, but we can tell that the processor is at 1.5Ghz which is faster than the GSM and CDMA version of 1.2Ghz. This ad has been taken off already.

Foxconn to expand smartphone production capacity in 2012
According to DigiTimes, the iPhone manufacturer is going to expand their production capacity of smartphones at the factory in Zhengzhou City. The production is going to be increased from 200k units/day to 400k units/day. The total number of production lines will be increased to 95 and could bring in $20 billion in sales revenue in 2012.
In Brazil, Foxconn is going to invest another $12 billion project to build an iPad production plant near their iPhone plant.

Xoom2 and Xoom2 confirmed
Motorola is introducing 2 new tablets, Xoom2 and Xoom2 Media Edition. These Honeycomb devices are equiped with 1.2GHz dual-core process, 5MP back camera and a 1.3MP front camera. The screen size are different. Xoom2 has a 10.1″ screen but Xoom2 Media Edition will have a 8.2″ display. The battery life is claimed to have 10+hrs for the Xoom2 and 6+hrs for the Xoom2 Media Edition.
