Android phones has been the biggest hit for this year.  From Nexus One, Sprint EVO 4G and Incredible, tons of new high-end Android phones had already hit the market.  Will you be wondering how much it costs to make these phones?

You are paying $199 for this Incredible from Verizon with 2 yr contracts.  However, iSuppli.com did an analysis and found the Droid Incredible actually cost HTC $163.35 to make.  To compare with the Nexus One, $174.15, it is just less than $10 different.  This is why the two amazing Android phones can be head to head in the market.

Do you think you are paying what it worth?

BlackBerry 9300 coming soon??

July 27th, 2010 MyMobile911 No comments

As all BlackBerry users are awaiting a new BlackBerry device, a lot of rumors had recently floating around the internet reporting 9300, 9800 and more.  Now, we received more news.  At BBGeeks.com posted, the picture of the T-Mobile branded 9300 is widely published.  Our ninja spots that AT&T and Sprint is going to carry the 9300 as well.  But, this is still another entry level BlackBerry.  Is BlackBerry giving up their high-end device lines?  This will be a similar device as the 8500 series which is available at all four major carriers in US.  One of the reasons that BlackBerry would like to release this version is to make this line has the ability to upgrade to their soon to be released OS6.  With the chrome finish, this 9300 does look better than the 8500, we will be looking forward for this hit.

Amazing T-Mobile 3.5G Data speed with Froyo 2.2

July 14th, 2010 MyMobile911 No comments

How many of you have your Nexus One update?  I recently updated my Nexus One to Froyo 2.2 FRF91.  On the data connection, the most recognized update is definitely the speed.  In the “About Phone”, the data connection is showing HSDPA (3.5G, up to 8-10Mbps) instead of UMTS (3G, up to 2.0Mbps).  If you look at the picture which I had done some speed testing with the Nexus One on the T-Mobile network, you can see the fastest download speed I can get is 4.630Mbps and upload speed at 1.580Mbps.   This result is faster than most of the standard DSL connection at home.  This is amazing.

iPhone 4 is not designed to be used with your left hand.

June 24th, 2010 MyMobile911 No comments

This is extremely funny on the iPhone4 connectivity. Tons of people are reporting a connection problem when they are holding the phone with their left hand. The reason is due to the antenna connection routed along the left bottom corner of the stainless steel trimming. Just wondering how Apple is going to fix this issue with 600,000 iPhone4 are on their way to their customers.
